We all need to be understood.
I see how much of the world requires writing; at school, at work, and in so many other parts of life. For those who struggle, everything is just that bit harder than it needs to be.
For my teenage son who lives with dyslexia, that struggle is very real. These challenges aren’t something that time or effort alone will resolve; dyslexia is lifelong, and while it brings strengths, it also creates real barriers in a world built around written communication. Existing tools don’t meet his needs, and that pushes me to build something better.
With my son in mind, and my 30 years building technology alongside my father’s lifetime of teaching languages, the three of us created Capiche.
Capiche is already in the hands of students, parents, and teachers, making a difference for those who use it. Now, our focus is on reaching more people who could benefit and improving Capiche with feedback from the community.
We’re looking for advice, feedback and connections to help shape the next steps and reach more of the dyslexia community.
You can try Capiche free today, or reach out if you’d like to be part of the journey.
